The Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Country Fest will mark a major milestone at the Albion Fairgrounds in Maple Ridge this summer with a theme celebrating over a century of local history. The festival, which takes place from July 24 to July 26, 2026, is centered around the theme “Party Like it’s 1901: 125 Years of Fair Fun.”
This year’s celebration recognizes the 125th anniversary of the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Agricultural Association. The group was first formed on June 15, 1901, to help teach the public about local farming and agricultural heritage.
The event serves as a long-standing tradition for the community, bringing families together for education and entertainment. Organizers say the 2026 theme highlights the deep roots the fair has planted in the region since its early beginnings at the start of the 20th century.
Manager Graham Vanstone and the rest of the non-profit team are preparing for large crowds to join the landmark anniversary festivities. The fair continues to focus on its original goals of promoting agriculture through displays and activities that have been a part of the local culture for generations.
