Drivers in Port Alberni, British Columbia, are facing new traffic detours after the intersection of Highway 4 and Beaver Creek Road closed for construction on March 13, 2026. This area, often called the River Road intersection by locals, is being turned into a roundabout to make the junction safer and less crowded for everyone on the road.
