The Prince Rupert Rainmakers at Charles Hays Secondary School officially started practices for the 2026 spring season on February 28, 2026, in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. This marks the beginning of the outdoor sports schedule as winter programs like basketball and wrestling finish their championship runs.
The school is currently looking for more student players to join the spring teams, which include rugby, soccer, and track and field. Students have the opportunity to sign up now before the main competition season begins in April and May.
