The Regina Farmers’ Market has added a mid-week outdoor date on May 6, 2026, to give local shoppers an early start to the spring season in Regina, Saskatchewan. This new Wednesday date follows the official outdoor season opener on May 2, 2026, and marks a full return to the downtown area for the community organization.
Both Wednesday and Saturday markets will now take place at Pat Fiacco Plaza in the city centre. This move brings all outdoor operations back to a single downtown location after construction previously forced Saturday events to move to a different park for the past two years.
Residents can visit the final indoor markets at Banner Hall in the REAL District until April 25, 2026. Once the market moves outside in May, shoppers can expect to find early-season items like greenhouse vegetables, honey, preserves, and handmade crafts.
The extra mid-week date offers more opportunities for local vendors to sell their goods and for downtown workers to shop during the week. The return to a consistent home at the plaza is expected to make it easier for people to visit the market regularly during their lunch breaks or weekend outings.
