MS Canada is looking for volunteers to help with the 2026 Regina MS Walk, which is taking place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Northshore Park.
The annual event invites community members to gather at the park located at 2900 Wascana Dr. Check-in begins at 10:00 a.m., with opening ceremonies starting at 11:00 a.m. Participants will follow a 4-kilometre walking route. For those who cannot attend in person, virtual options are also available.
The organization is seeking volunteers who are passionate about supporting the multiple sclerosis community. Volunteers are needed to assist with various duties on the day of the walk for shifts ranging from two to eight hours. Students are encouraged to apply, as the organization can provide letters of confirmation for volunteer hours that may be used toward graduation requirements.
According to MS Canada, the country has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis in the world, with approximately 90,000 Canadians currently living with the disease. The MS Walk is held in over 50 locations across the country each year to raise funds for research and support those affected.
