The Saskatchewan Roughriders have finalized several changes to their roster in Regina as they continue training camp ahead of the 2026 season. The team announced on May 16, 2026, that they have re-signed American defensive lineman Sundiata Anderson and signed American running back Quali Conley, while placing Canadian offensive lineman Daniel Johnson on the one-game injured list.
The team brought back Anderson, a 25-year-old from College Park, Georgia, less than a week after releasing him following rookie camp. Anderson played six seasons at Grambling State University, where he recorded 136 total tackles and 14 sacks. The roster also adds Conley, a running back who previously attended training camp with the Montreal Alouettes and spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals. During his final collegiate season at the University of Arizona in 2024, Conley rushed for 745 yards and eight touchdowns.
In a corresponding move to manage the roster, the Roughriders placed Johnson on the one-game injured list. Johnson, a former fifth-round draft pick, appeared as a starter in five games for the team during the 2025 season. Additionally, the club confirmed it has released American offensive lineman Percy Lewis IV, who had signed with the team on April 29 but did not appear in a game.
