The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery in Sarnia is opening new art exhibitions this May, showcasing work from both local and national artists.
The gallery is hosting Together Apart | Under One Roof, an exhibition celebrating the 30-year creative partnership of Winnipeg artists Aganetha Dyck, Reva Stone, and Diana Thorneycroft. The show explores themes including feminist art practice and the relationship between humans and the natural world. This exhibition serves as a tribute to Dyck, who passed away in 2025.
Residents are invited to attend a members reception to meet the artists on May 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The gallery, which is located in the historic Thom Building at 147 Lochiel Street, offers free admission to the public.
