The Sarnia Police Service is searching for two people wanted for a violent home invasion and stabbing that took place on March 9, 2026, in Sarnia, Ontario. Officers were called to a home on Russell Street South at about 9:16 p.m. after receiving reports that someone had been stabbed.
Investigators found that three masked people dressed in dark clothing forced their way into a locked bedroom inside the house. One man was stabbed in the leg during the attack and was later flown by helicopter to a regional trauma centre with injuries that were considered life-threatening.
A second person in the home was also assaulted while trying to step in and help. According to the Sarnia Police Service, the stabbing victim is now in stable condition.
Police have identified two of the suspects as Tesha Oliver and Jacob Oliver. They are currently wanted for several charges, including break and enter and aggravated assault, while a third masked suspect involved in the attack has not yet been identified.
Local authorities are asking the public to report any sightings of the suspects but warn that they should not be approached as they are considered dangerous. Anyone with information about where these individuals might be is asked to contact the police immediately.
