Registration for summer programs at the Strangway Community Centre in Sarnia, Ontario, opens Tuesday, June 16 at 9 a.m. Residents can sign up online, in person, or by phone for a range of fitness, sports, arts, and learning activities running June 29 to September 25, 2026.
The City of Sarnia says the full lineup, including beginner pickleball lessons, walking soccer, Dancercise, art classes, and French language courses, can be viewed starting June 2 at www.sarnia.ca/Recreation. Viewing the options early gives residents two weeks to plan before registration opens.
Outdoor sports programs that started in the spring are carrying into summer, so some spots are already limited. People interested in those sessions should register quickly. The Centre, at 260 East Street North, serves adults 20 and older and runs more than 85 programs for about 2,000 people each year.
Registration on June 16 is available three ways: online at the website, in person at the Strangway Centre (260 East Street North), or by calling 519-332-0656. The summer season includes holiday closures on July 1, August 3, and September 7.
A Strangway Activity Membership costs $67 for adults 50 and older and cuts program fees by 15 percent or more. The Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
