Residents in Sarnia can expect unsettled spring weather throughout the week as cool and variable conditions move across the region. According to Environment Canada, there are currently no weather alerts in effect for the area.
Conditions on Tuesday are expected to bring a mix of cloud and rain. While the morning began with cloudy skies and temperatures near 15°C, showers are forecast to begin near noon. Residents should prepare for breezy conditions, with west winds gusting up to 50 km/h before easing later in the day. The high for Tuesday is expected to reach 16°C.
The variable pattern is expected to continue through the rest of the week. Daily high temperatures from Wednesday through Saturday will range between 11°C and 13°C, with a consistent chance of showers throughout those days. A slight improvement is expected by Sunday, which will see a mix of sun and cloud with temperatures climbing back up to 16°C.
This cooling trend is consistent with a broader weather pattern affecting much of eastern Canada this month. The Weather Network reports that much of Ontario will experience cooler-than-normal temperatures and unsettled conditions for most of May.
