The City of Spruce Grove has released the full schedule for its 2026 Canada Day celebration at Jubilee Park (510 Grove Drive), giving residents a complete look at the food, music, and family fun planned for July 1 in Spruce Grove, Alberta. After previously leaving many event sections marked as “details coming soon,” the city has now confirmed the entertainment lineup, vendor list, and transportation options for the day-long party.
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at the Protective Services Building at 36 Fifth Avenue. The meal, put on with the Knights of Columbus, costs $5 per person or $20 per family and will serve the first 1,000 people. The day wraps up with a fireworks display at 11 p.m., weather permitting, capping over 11 hours of activities that organizers expect will draw more than 15,000 people.
Music stages will feature a mix of local talent and national acts. Two-time Juno Award winners Tim & the Glory Boys headline at 9:30 p.m., bringing their country-bluegrass sound to the park. Supporting acts include The Heels at 6:30 p.m. and Spruce Grove-area rock band Achilles Last Stand at 8 p.m. Daytime performances range from folk singer Danny Cole, children’s entertainer Beppie, and country artist Tommy Charles to Indigenous hoop dancer Dallas Arcand and hip-hop artist Arlo Maverick.
Food options will be plentiful with more than 20 trucks and vendors on site, including El Mero Mero Taqueria, Brickhouse Smokery, and Donut Gypsies. Over 30 market vendors will sell crafts and goods. For families, activity zones open at 1 p.m. and include a ninja obstacle course, inflatable bouncers, coding activities, crafts from the Spruce Grove Public Library, and the REMAX Spray Park.
The celebration will include a food drive for the Parkland Food Bank, which marked its 40th anniversary in 2025 and is raising money for a new facility. Donation boxes for non-perishable food or cash will be set up near the information tents. A free park-and-ride shuttle will run from 11:30 a.m. until midnight, picking up at Spruce Grove Alliance Church, St. Marguerite School, St. Thomas Aquinas School, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School, and the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre.
