The Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society is looking for local vendors to join its new Market at the Elevator, which is set to launch on May 2, 2026, in Spruce Grove, Alberta.
Located at the historic grain elevator site at 120 Railway Avenue, the market will operate every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Spruce Grove and District Agricultural Society, a non-profit organization established in 1972, is organizing the event at the landmark site it famously saved from demolition in 1995.
The market is accepting applications from a wide variety of sellers, including those offering farm products, baked goods, prepared and preserved foods, as well as artisans selling handmade goods, art, crafts, plants, and flowers. Indoor vendor fees are priced at $25 per week for a 2-foot by 6-foot table, or $30 per week for a 2-foot by 8-foot table. Outdoor vendor spaces are also available for $25 or $50.
According to the society’s board president, Teresa Bateman, this new initiative serves a growing community. Recent data shows Spruce Grove has reached a population of 44,575 residents, maintaining its status as one of the fastest-growing cities in Alberta.
