Local artisans, food truck operators, and creators are invited to apply for the 2026 Summer at the Centre Night Market series in Spruce Grove. Organized by the City Centre Business Association, the events aim to bring the community together for evenings of live entertainment and local goods.
The market series will take place at Columbus Park and McLeod Avenue on four Saturday evenings throughout the summer: July 4, July 18, August 1, and August 15, 2026. Each event runs from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This schedule builds on the success of last year, which saw more than 10,500 attendees and over 120 vendors participate across four evenings.
The association is currently accepting applications for regular 10×10 tent vendors, consumable goods sellers, and food truck operators. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendor fees for a standard tent space are $60 plus goods and services tax.
All participants, particularly food vendors, must adhere to strict safety and regulatory requirements. Food sellers are required to follow Alberta Health Services guidelines, possess valid food handling permits, and carry at least $2,000,000 in commercial liability insurance with the business association listed as an additional insured. Additionally, all vendors must provide their own fire-retardant 10×10 tents secured with at least 25 pounds of weight on each leg.
Formed in 2016, the business association consists of 175 local member businesses dedicated to revitalizing the city centre. With a population of 44,575, Spruce Grove has seen steady growth, and these markets serve as a key initiative for the area, supported by a 2026 budget of $45,000 funded through a business improvement area levy and an annual $10,000 contribution from the City of Spruce Grove.
