The Spruce Grove Saints junior hockey team is hosting a Super Hero Day on March 22, 2026, at the Thompson Family Arena in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The afternoon event features a regular-season game followed by a chance for fans to get on the ice and skate with the players.
The game against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks will begin with a puck drop at 2:00 PM. This family-focused event is part of a series of community activities held at the team’s home rink to engage local fans.
The Saints play at the Thompson Family Arena, a new facility that opened its doors to the public in September 2025. The arena has become a central hub for sports in the city since its opening, following the team’s move to the British Columbia Hockey League in 2024.
Following the conclusion of the game, the team will hold a Skate with the Saints session. Fans are invited to dress up as their favourite superheroes and join the athletes on the ice for the interactive portion of the day.
