Skies clear for Tuesday and Wednesday, with sunny conditions and highs of 23 C and 28 C respectively. Thursday is expected to be the warmest day at 29 C. Friday carries a 60 percent chance of showers and a high of 24 C, before sunshine returns for the weekend with highs of 25 C on Saturday and 26 C on Sunday.
Environment Canada also notes Monday’s UV index is 6, or high. Residents spending time outside are advised to wear protective clothing, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, and seek shade during midday hours.
The forecast comes after a mainly sunny Sunday in the region and aligns with typical August conditions, which usually feature a high of 25 C and a low of 11 C. The week’s warmer days could offer good opportunities for gardening, farm work, or visiting local spots like Stonewall Quarry Park.
