Boonstra Farms is gearing up to open its fall corn maze season on September 12, 2026, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. The farm, located at 76135 Road 8E just west of Highway 7 on Highway 67, has wrapped up its strawberry picking season and is ready to welcome families for a full lineup of autumn activities.
Visitors can look forward to a 10-acre corn maze, a petting zoo, Murray’s Mountain slide, and hay rides. The farm notes that this season has been a difficult one and thanks the community for supporting local agriculture. “Thank you for all your support during this difficult season,” the farm said in a statement. “We appreciate you choosing to shop local and supporting our farm.”
Admission is $13 for adults, $10 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under. The corn maze season runs through October 16, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a Halloween-themed maze beginning October 17 featuring the Tower of Terror and the popular Black Hole challenge.
Boonstra Farms has been a family operation since 1988, when Murray and Pauline Boonstra started with a small dairy herd. Carl and Danielle Boonstra now help run the farm, which has expanded to include 35 acres of strawberries, 4 acres of raspberries, and the corn maze. The farm was named Best Farm in Manitoba by CAA’s Going Places magazine.
