Registration for summer day camps and swimming lessons is now open for families in Stratford, Ontario, as the City of Stratford prepares for the July and August 2026 season. Sign-ups began at 9:00 a.m. on March 2, 2026, allowing parents to book supervised care and lessons in advance to avoid long waitlists.
The programs are divided into three groups: Little Adventures for children aged 4 to 6, Wondering Minds for ages 5 to 8, and Adventure Cravers for ages 7 to 12. Families can also choose specialized options like an Esport Day Camp or a Swim Day Camp that includes 30-minute daily lessons.
Standard fees for the 2026 camps are $190 for a five-day week or $152 for a four-day week during holiday periods. Activities will take place at several local spots, including the Stratford Rotary Complex, the Stratford Agriplex, and Stratford Intermediate School.
For families who need help with the cost of these programs, financial assistance is available through the Social Services Department. Residents can call the Child Care Division at 519-271-3773 extension 200 to learn more about support options.
