Huron Perth Public Health is asking residents in Stratford and across the region to share their thoughts on local sexual health clinics in a new online survey. The survey opened on July 13, 2026, and the health unit wants to hear from both people who have used the clinics and those who have not.
The goal is to understand how satisfied clients are with the services and to find out what might be stopping others from using them. The survey takes about five to 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous. Participants can also enter a draw to win one of three $50 gift cards. It will be open through late summer 2026.
“Ever visited an HPPH sexual health clinic? We’d like to learn about your experience and level of satisfaction. Not been to a clinic? We’d like to better understand the reasons why, so that we can address barriers and improve accessibility,” the health unit stated.
Huron Perth Public Health operates five sexual health clinics in Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Listowel, and Stratford. The Stratford clinic is located on the second floor of Festival Square at 10 Downie Street. It offers services on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., as well as Thursdays: the first and third of the month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the second and fourth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The clinics provide confidential services, including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, low-cost birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and counselling, cervical screening, IUD and IUS insertion and removal, and referrals to other health services. All services are offered in a private and non-judgmental setting.
Feedback gathered from the survey will be used to shape how the clinics operate and to make them easier for people across Huron and Perth counties to use. Residents who want to take part can find the survey on the Huron Perth Public Health website.
