Fog patches that lingered early Tuesday are expected to clear, leaving residents with a bright start to the day. Environment Canada says the humidex could reach 29, making it feel a little warmer than the thermometer reading.
The warm stretch is expected to continue into Wednesday, May 27, when Stratford has a 40 per cent chance of morning showers before turning mainly sunny again. The daytime high is expected to reach about 24 C, with an overnight low near 10 C.
Conditions are expected to stay stable through the end of May, with daytime highs generally ranging from 20 C to 24 C and clear, cool nights in the single digits to low teens. Flood concerns have also eased, with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority reporting no current flood issues in the watershed.
