Kings Playhouse in Georgetown has added two new shows to its fall 2026 lineup, bringing Celtic music and holiday cheer to the Three Rivers area.
The Barra MacNeils, the celebrated Celtic family group from Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, will perform on Sunday, October 25 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $70. The siblings are marking 40 years of performing together with a coast-to-coast tour.
The theatre has also scheduled its annual Kings Playhouse Christmas! variety show for Friday, December 4 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20. The community showcase doubles as a fundraiser for the Georgetown Community Fridge, which is located at the theatre’s main entrance and offers 24/7 access to free food.
Other shows in the fall lineup include Gypsy, a Fleetwood Mac tribute, on September 5; In Spite of Ourselves, a John Prine tribute, on October 4; and PEI-born singer-songwriter Rose Cousins on October 17.
