Wainwright Public Library is bringing back its fall programming lineup on Tuesday, September 8, after the summer break. Residents of all ages can look forward to a mix of returning favourites and new activities designed to bring the community together through stories, creativity, learning, and connection.
The lineup includes early years programs like Storytime, Budding Bookworms, and Take Away Crafts for little ones. Children can take part in crafts, STEM activities, LEGO building, and PD Day fun. Tweens and teens will find creative activities, games, and chances to connect with friends. Adults can enjoy crafting, bookish events, stitching, accessible activities, and other opportunities to learn and socialize. Special events round out the schedule.
Some programs require pre-registration, while others are drop-in. The library encourages residents to check event details before attending to avoid missing out. Library Manager Jodi Dahlgren and the team are welcoming both returning participants and new faces.
One highlighted program, HeroQuest, a Dungeons & Dragons-style fantasy adventure game for grades 7 and up, will start this fall after Thanksgiving. The library is located at 921-3rd Avenue in the Centennial Centre.
