The Stouffville Market is returning for its fifth season in Whitchurch-Stouffville, offering residents a weekly opportunity to support local farmers and artisans beginning May 9, 2026.
The outdoor market will operate every Saturday through October 17, 2026, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is held in the parking lot of the 55+ Club at 6240 Main St., a property owned by the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.
Since the Stouffville Market was founded in 2022 by organizer Susan Tucker, it has grown from 20 vendors to 70 in 2025, now drawing nearly 2,000 visitors each week. Tucker coordinates the event as a community service at no profit. The market also hosts an indoor winter series that runs monthly from January through April.
Local vendors interested in participating this season can apply through the official application portal. Booth fees for a 10-foot by 10-foot space are $40 per day, while a 10-foot by 20-foot space costs $70 per day. Discounted rates are also available for those who commit to a half-season for $340 or a full-season for $600.
The event serves as a community staple, continuing a local tradition following the 2016 closure of the long-running Stouffville Country Market, which had operated since 1952.
