Volunteers are being sought to help run the upcoming Faerie and Fantasy Faire: Horns and Hooves event taking place on March 28 and 29, 2026, at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, British Columbia. The festival needs local helpers to assist with setting up the venue, running daily activities, and making sure visitors have a good experience at the family-friendly gathering.
The event is organized by 4 Wands Faerie Events and led by its founder, Alison Spokes. The team is looking for people from the community to help manage the increased scale of the festival, which provides a space for families and fantasy fans to meet.
This is the second year for the fantasy festival in Sidney. The first event held in 2025 was much more popular than the organizers expected, selling 1,856 tickets, which was triple the amount they originally planned for.
Because the festival is growing, more volunteers are needed to join the group of staff and performers. The weekend will include a market with various vendors, live shows, and storytelling for all ages to enjoy.
