The Peninsula Newcomers Club is hosting its Annual Fall Fling on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, BC. The free event is open to women who have moved to the Saanich Peninsula within the past three years and offers a chance to learn about the club’s activities and meet other newcomers.
Registration is required, but a limited number of spots will be available at the door. Light refreshments will be served, and attendees can expect an overview of the fun activities and events planned for the year ahead. The club’s fall programming runs from September through June, with many activities continuing during the summer.
The Peninsula Newcomers Club was established in January 1987 and has approximately 275 members. Its unofficial motto, “Women helping women,” reflects its focus on building friendships through social gatherings and activities organized by members. The club serves women in Sidney, North Saanich, and Central Saanich, including Brentwood Bay and Saanichton.
