The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce announced on March 10, 2026, that local businesses and job seekers in Brockville, Ontario, can now access free professional training through a new online program. This initiative is meant to help the local economy by providing tools to improve job readiness and meet the needs of employers in the region.
The program, known as Skills Bridge, allows business owners to enroll themselves and up to 10 of their employees in over 60 different professional courses at no cost. These resources are designed to help workers develop new skills that are useful in the current job market.
While the local chamber is bringing the program to the community, the platform is managed at the provincial level by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. The goal of the project is to help fill skill gaps for small businesses and workers throughout the area.
This free access is a limited-time offer for the community. Interested residents and business owners must sign up and use the platform by May 31, 2026, to take advantage of the free training before the opportunity concludes.
