Brockville residents are waking up to a cloudy Monday, with a mainly cloudy day ahead and a high of 25 degrees C. Environment Canada says it will feel more like 33 degrees C with the humidex, making for a muggy start to the work week.
The UV index is high at 7, so anyone heading outdoors should still take precautions. Environment Canada recommends looking for shade when the sun is strongest near midday, wearing UV-protective sunglasses, and reapplying sunscreen every two hours, especially between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Tonight will bring a few clouds with fog patches developing after midnight, and an overnight low of around 14 degrees C.
Looking ahead, Tuesday is forecast to be mainly sunny with a high of 25 degrees C and a humidex of 29, before a 60% chance of showers moves in at night. The rest of the week brings an unsettled pattern with alternating sun and cloud and shower chances ranging from 30% to 60%. Highs will fluctuate between 21 and 26 degrees C.
