The Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, British Columbia, is growing its March 2026 event list with new community activities, including a fantasy festival and a comedy production. These additions provide residents on the Saanich Peninsula with more local entertainment options as the spring season begins.
The second annual Faerie & Fantasy Faire will take place at the centre on March 28, 2026, and March 29, 2026. This event is organized by 4 Wands Faerie Events Inc. and returns to the community after its first festival in April 2025.
Along with the weekend festival, the comedy production AWOL is also being staged at the theatre this month. These events help the non-profit venue continue its work as a primary spot for arts and culture in the area.
The venue, located on Beacon Avenue, features the Charlie White Theatre and other spaces for meetings and community clinics. By hosting a mix of performing arts and themed events, the centre aims to attract different groups of people from across the peninsula.
