The City of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, finished its 44th annual Frosty Festival on February 15, 2026. This 11-day event brought the community together for concerts, family meals, and sports during the middle of the winter season.
The celebration started on February 5, 2026, with a Light the Night ceremony held at St. David’s Park. The festival was organized through a partnership between the City of Mount Pearl and the Frosty Festival Committee with support from several local businesses.
This year, residents enjoyed a variety of activities including a craft beer event called Frosty’s Brewfest, a comedy show by Shaun Majumder, and a Snowball Dinner and Dance. There were also family breakfasts and sporting events held at different locations throughout the city.
The end of the festival marks the close of the city’s main winter events for the year. Organizers are now looking ahead to plan future community gatherings following the conclusion of the 11-day celebration.
