The Nisku Energy Show is returning to Nisku, Alberta, on May 27-28, 2026, to help local residents find jobs and connect with businesses in the energy industry. The two-day event at the Silent Ice Sports & Entertainment Center will feature a free job fair and a dinner highlighting regional food to support the local economy.
Organized by the Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event has expanded this year to include a second arena and a dedicated space for trades careers. This growth follows the success of the first show in 2025, which hosted more than 100 business booths in the Nisku-Leduc industrial area.
Premier Danielle Smith and Leduc County Mayor Tanni Doblanko will speak at the Opening Breakfast & Ceremony on the first morning of the event. Local leaders say the gathering highlights the importance of the Nisku-Leduc business park, which is the largest energy manufacturing hub in Canada and supports more than 6,100 jobs.
People looking for work can attend the Job & Career Fair for free to meet with hiring managers from different companies. On the evening of May 27, the Taste of the Region dinner will serve local food and drinks from Alberta breweries and distilleries for a $75 ticket fee.
