The Town of Amherstburg is hosting its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Libro Credit Union Centre. The free family event begins when doors open at 9:00 AM, offering a variety of activities for residents throughout the morning.
Families can participate in several indoor activities, including specialized play for children ages five and under on the turf fields and craft stations set up in the lobby. The event also features a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who will be in the Energy Zone from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. No registration is required to attend any of the festivities.
The event includes opportunities for skating on the centre’s ice pads. A beginner skating session is set for 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM, followed by a public skating session from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM. Event organizers note that skates will not be provided for participants, and helmets are strongly encouraged for everyone on the ice. During the public skating session, participants are expected to have basic skating skills, as skate aids will not be permitted.
The Libro Centre is a large recreation facility operated by Nustadia Recreation. The venue features two ice pads, indoor turf fields, and a walking track to serve the community.
