Residents in Milton now have a new way to pick up local beverages as a long-standing boutique winery adds beer to its menu. Vin Bon Milton, located at 50 Steeles Ave E, announced on April 1, 2026, that it has expanded its offerings to include high-quality, locally crafted beer alongside its custom wine services.
The shop, which is a franchise of Vin Bon, has been a part of the community since 2019. The business is led by owner and master winemaker Vitaly Kiy, who first entered the industry after a career in the corporate world. While the franchise has spent decades focusing on wine, this latest change allows customers to craft their own beer batches on-site.
This development comes as Milton experiences significant shifts in how residents purchase alcohol. In July 2025, two local locations of The Beer Store closed their doors, leaving only one remaining spot in the growing town. Meanwhile, the provincial government has moved to increase access to beer, wine, and cider by allowing sales in more convenience and grocery stores as of January 1, 2026.
Milton remains one of Canada’s fastest-growing municipalities, with the local population projected to surpass 400,000 residents by 2051. As the town expands, Vin Bon Milton joins a local craft beverage scene that includes established operators like Third Moon Brewing, Orange Snail Brewers, and Furnace Room Brewery.
