Young athletes in St. Thomas, Ontario, have a new opportunity to refine their basketball skills this summer as St. Thomas Shock Basketball officially opens registration for its 2026 summer camp program.
The organization is hosting four weeks of basketball camps throughout July 2026, designed for students in Grades 3 to 8. The camps are open to players of all skill levels. To ensure personal attention and quality instruction, the club has capped registration at 20 participants per age group. Interested families are encouraged to sign up early through the organization’s website, as spots are expected to fill quickly.
In addition to the standard programming, the club is offering a special Elite Week from July 20 to July 24, 2026, specifically tailored for competitive players looking to challenge themselves. Registration for the summer sessions is priced at $120 per player.
St. Thomas Shock Basketball is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization governed by a Board of Directors. The club has been a staple of the local sports community since 2003, evolving from the city’s earlier High-Tops basketball programs that began in the early 1990s. Over the last several years, the club has seen significant competitive success, earning multiple gold and silver medals at Ontario Basketball championships.
