The Town of Sylvan Lake has officially released its Spring and Summer Community Guide, giving residents a head start on planning their recreation activities for the upcoming season. The guide, which covers programs, events, and community information from May through August 2026, is now available for the public to view.
Residents can access the document online through the Town of Sylvan Lake website, where it is available as a downloadable file. For those who prefer a physical copy, the guide is also available at all Town facilities.
The guide provides essential details for families and individuals, including information on swimming pool lessons, various summer camps, and community support services. Much of the programming will take place at the NexSource Centre, a large, multi-use recreation facility in the heart of town that houses arenas, a curling rink, a swimming pool, and fitness areas.
Registration for these programs will open in two stages. Online sign-ups begin on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, followed by in-person registration starting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
