The United Way Leeds & Grenville is hiring two students for summer positions at its office in Brockville, Ontario. These roles are part of the federal Canada Summer Jobs program, which provides work opportunities for youth.
The two open positions are a Special Events Coordinator and a Fundraising Campaign Organizer. Both roles are based at the organization’s location at 42 George Street in Brockville. Each position is for an eight-week term, with a pay rate of $17.60 per hour.
The Fundraising Campaign Organizer position is set to begin on May 4, 2026, while the Special Events Coordinator role begins on June 29, 2026. Interested students and recent graduates between the ages of 15 and 30 can submit their applications by emailing their resume to [email protected]. All applicants must meet the federal eligibility requirements for the summer jobs program.
The United Way has served the region since 1957 and currently supports 16 local agencies across more than 40 communities. Their work focuses on critical areas such as food security, housing, mental health, and support for children and youth. Earlier this year, the organization successfully met its $900,000 goal for the 2025 fundraising campaign.
