The Sylvan Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted the Boss Babes Gala on April 13, 2026, bringing together local women business leaders for an evening dedicated to networking, mentorship, and celebration in Sylvan Lake, Alberta.
The event focused on highlighting the contributions of women to the local economy. It provided a space for entrepreneurs to connect and share experiences, emphasizing the importance of community support for business owners.
Calgary-based speaker Jessica Janzen served as the event’s keynote. Janzen is a mindset coach, author, and co-founder of the Love for Lewiston Foundation, an organization that has raised more than $3.5 million to support research into Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The gala featured presentations from Chamber leadership, including the executive team, and was supported by title sponsor Sarah Strauss. The Chamber, which has been active in the local business community for more than 40 years, credited the various sponsors, donors, volunteers, and partners who helped make the gala possible.
