Residents in a section of Almonte will experience a planned power outage on Friday, April 24, 2026, as crews perform necessary maintenance work. The Ottawa River Power Corporation has announced the service interruption will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The outage is required to allow for tree removal operations in the area. The work will specifically affect customers located on Arthur Street, King Street, and St. George Street.
According to the utility provider, affected customers will be notified through an automated messaging system using the primary phone number listed on their utility account.
