The Block Party Outdoor Market returns to the Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator on Friday, May 29, 2026, marking the start of a new weekly summer tradition in Leduc, Alberta.
Organized by Alberta Made Market, the event will take place every Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through September 25, 2026. The market features local vendors, food trucks, and family activities, hosted on the grounds of the historic grain elevator at 5209 47 St.
The Alberta Legacy Development Society, which operates the site, is partnering with the market organizers to bring more activity to the downtown area. The society, which was granted Provincial Heritage Resource Status in 2003, oversees the 1978 grain elevator—one of the last single composite wood crib structures of its kind remaining in the province.
According to Larry Fecho, president of the Alberta Legacy Development Society, the partnership aims to build on the momentum of recent years, which saw more than 10,000 people attend events at the landmark. The Leduc Downtown Business Association is also supporting the initiative as part of its mandate to foster community experiences and support local businesses.
