Students from Montague Consolidated School are taking to the stage next month to perform Finding Nemo Kids at the Kings Playhouse in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island. The production will run for three nights, beginning May 12, 2026, and continuing through May 14, 2026, with each show starting at 6:00 PM.
The performances feature students in grades 3 through 6. This musical is part of a tradition at the school, which produces a large-scale stage show every other year. Students begin the process months in advance, with auditions held in December followed by a dedicated rehearsal period during the spring term.
The event offers young performers the chance to showcase their talents in a professional theatre setting. Located at 65 Grafton Street, the Kings Playhouse is Canada’s longest-running theatre and features a 290-seat capacity, serving as a primary cultural hub for the Three Rivers region.
Tickets for the performances are $8 and can be purchased at the door using cash. Community members also have the option to buy tickets in advance by calling the school office at 902-838-0820.
