Residents in Leduc, Alberta, will have an opportunity to securely dispose of personal documents during a free shredding event hosted by the Lions Club of Leduc on June 20, 2026.
The event is set to take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is listed through the Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce. This marks the latest in a series of annual shredding services organized by the local club, which previously held a similar event in June 2025 at the local Safeway location.
The local club is a chapter of Lions Club International, a global service organization founded in 1917. Community shredding events in Leduc often provide residents with a way to clear out old files while supporting local charitable initiatives, such as the Leduc and District Food Bank.
