The Milton District High School girls softball team delivered a dominant 19-5 win over visiting Kings Christian Collegiate of Oakville on Monday evening, May 25, 2026, according to a school announcement posted the next day.
Pitcher Nahla Toorawa led the defensive effort with several key strikeouts to keep the opposition in check. On offence, Ava McSplash reached base six times, while Daniela Hierman, Maeve Conrad, and Aidan Pineda each made it on base five times. Their consistent hitting set the stage for a nine-run explosion in the final inning that sealed the win.
The Mustangs, who compete in the Halton Secondary Schools Athletic Association, showed the depth of their lineup as contributions came from up and down the batting order. Five coaches—Buji, Polap, MacInnis, Kokerus, and Wiesner—guide the team this season.
With the victory, Milton District sends a clear message to the rest of the league as the 2025-2026 spring sports season enters its final stretch. The school year’s athletic calendar will conclude with the annual Athletic Banquet on June 11 at the Milton Banquet & Conference Centre.
