Thousands of visitors are expected to arrive in downtown St. Thomas, Ontario, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, when Nostalgia Nights returns, filling Talbot Street with more than 1,000 classic cars and vintage vehicles from across the province. The free community event runs from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is hosted by the St. Thomas Downtown Development Board.
Talbot Street will close to regular traffic starting at 3:00 PM, allowing the show to take over the downtown core. Admission is free, and organizers will accept donations for a local charity.
Beyond the rows of polished chrome and paint, visitors can take free rides on the historic L&PS railway line, with trains running hourly from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Live music, food vendors, and photography spots will be set up along the route, and downtown shops and restaurants will stay open to welcome the crowd.
The event leans into St. Thomas’s identity as the Railway City, a reputation built by more than 26 railways that have passed through since 1856. Organizers say the train rides have become one of the most popular parts of the evening, giving families and car enthusiasts another way to experience the city’s heritage.
Attendees can find more details on the Nostalgia Nights official website.
