The Town of Bay Roberts is now taking applications from local businesses, artisans, and producers who want to sell their goods at this year’s Klondyke Days festival. The event, which runs from July 22 to August 3, is the community’s biggest summer celebration and draws large crowds to the region.
Anyone interested in becoming a vendor must submit their business name along with pictures of their products or services. The town recently put the call out on social media, encouraging locals to sign up for a chance to connect with thousands of festival visitors.
Klondyke Days has been a Bay Roberts tradition since 1996, named after the historic Klondyke causeway built by hand in 1897. Today the festival packs nearly two weeks with a parade, community BBQ, garden parties, car shows, jam sessions, a family fun day, and a fireworks finale on Bay Roberts Day.
