The Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce brings businesses together for its annual golf tournament tomorrow, July 17, 2026, at the Devon Golf and Conference Centre in Devon, Alberta.
Registration and breakfast start at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The Scramble format welcomes golfers of all skill levels. For $165 plus GST for members or $180 plus GST for non-members, each player gets green fees, a shared power cart, breakfast, snacks, drinks, and a BBQ steak dinner.
A new highlight this year is the Nisku Energy Show $250K Shoot-Out, a contest where one golfer could walk away with $250,000. The Chamber, now celebrating its 120th year representing over 1,200 member businesses, uses events like this to strengthen connections across the region.
Proceeds from mulligan sales will go to charity, and local businesses have stepped up as sponsors. Hole sponsorships went for $1,250, cart sponsors for $500, and player gift bag sponsors for $250.
The tournament runs until 4 p.m. at the course located at 1130 River Valley in Devon. The venue itself has deep roots in the community, originally built in 1954 for oil workers from the historic Leduc #1 oil field.
