The stormy conditions on Saturday and Sunday brought heavy rain and a brief cool-down, with northwesterly winds making it feel more like fall. But the forecast calls for mainly sunny skies on Tuesday with a high of 27°C, which is right around the average for this time of year.
The middle of the week stays mostly dry, with temperatures holding in the mid-20s. However, the chance of scattered thunderstorms returns on Wednesday evening, with a 70 percent probability of showers. Thursday and Friday carry a lower risk at around 40 percent.
For residents, the next couple of days offer a good window for outdoor plans before the unsettled pattern returns. The weather is typical for late August in southwestern Ontario, when warm, humid air often collides with cooler systems moving through the Great Lakes region.
