Leduc County residents who use two rural township roads will need to plan for extended detours this fall as the county replaces culverts in separate full closures.
Township Road 492 between Range Road 253 and Range Road 254 will be fully closed from September 14 to October 2, 2026. Local and emergency traffic will still be able to get through.
Then, starting the same day the first closure ends, Township Road 482 between Range Road 261 and Range Road 262 will close from October 2 to October 21, 2026. Both projects are for culvert replacement, and the back-to-back timing means drivers could face detours in the area for more than a month.
