The Didsbury Municipal Library is rolling out two new programs this September aimed at the youngest and oldest members of the community.
On September 23, Adventure Babies: Kimochis will offer early learning activities for families with infants and toddlers. Led by Miss Trish and Miss Sarah, the program uses the Kimochis curriculum, a research-based approach that helps children recognize and manage emotions, build positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Two days later, on September 25, the library will host a Teen Drop-In from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Teens can socialize, do homework, play games including Nintendo Switch, and enjoy a dedicated evening space at the library.
Both programs are part of the library’s ongoing effort to serve all age groups in Didsbury and Mountain View County. The library, located at 2033 19th Avenue, has about 1,900 active borrowers and recorded 38,483 visits in 2023.
Residents can find more information and register through the library’s events page.
