The Town of Three Rivers is looking to hire a Planning and Development Clerk, with applications closing on Friday, September 11, 2026. The position reports to the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, currently Danielle Herring, and supports the day-to-day work of the town’s planning department.
The annual salary for the role ranges from $49,074 to $61,343. The successful candidate will need at least two years of administrative experience and a post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as business or public administration. Municipal planning experience is considered an asset.

Three Rivers has become one of the fastest-growing communities on Prince Edward Island, with development applications rising 158 per cent between 2022 and 2024.
The town’s planning team has been busy in early 2026 as well, with 15 permits approved in December 2025 and 11 more issued in January 2026. Those permits included new single-unit homes, residential extensions, accessory buildings, and several subdivisions.
