The Songs, Stages, and Seafood Festival returns to Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, from May 21 to May 24, 2026, featuring a variety of events celebrating local culinary traditions and music. The Bay Arena will serve as the primary venue for the four-day festival, which is restricted to attendees aged 19 and older.
The festival lineup includes five core events: The Harbour Hop Culinary Pub Crawl, Hooked On Local, the Toutons Tomcods and Tunes Guided Hike, the Land and Sea Evening, and the NL Fishcake Championship. Tickets for all events can be purchased through Showpass. As of mid-May, the Harbour Hop event is already sold out.
The NL Fishcake Championship will feature a culinary competition between eight local chefs: Lacey Coffin, Clinton Brewer, Stephen Pynn, Brian Piercey, Chris Mercer, Colin Leigh, Hilarie Vatcher, and Roary MacPherson. The event is sponsored by Powell’s Supermarket.
According to Ron Delaney, the town’s Director of Tourism and Economic Development, the festival has grown significantly since its inception around 2017. It now attracts visitors from across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Brazil, establishing itself as a key regional attraction for the area.
