The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild secured the Prince Edward Island Major U18 provincial championship on March 26, 2026, by defeating the Charlottetown Island Coastal Knights in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The team clinched the best-of-seven series with a victory in Game 6 at MacLauchlan Arena. This win marks the third consecutive provincial title for the team and their ninth championship banner in the 13 years since the franchise moved to the Credit Union Centre in Kensington.
The squad finished the regular season in fourth place in the New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Major U18 Hockey League with 16 wins. Two players, goaltender Jase MacPherson and forward Drew Murphy, earned spots on the league second all-star team for their play during the 2025-2026 season.
Head coach Jeremy Balderston and the team will now travel to represent the province at the 2026 U18 Atlantic Championship. The tournament will be held at the qplex in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, from April 1, 2026, to April 5, 2026.
