The Leduc Public Library is hosting a new collaborative painting event called Art Roulette, inviting adults to take part in a creative and social afternoon of art-making in Leduc, Alberta.
The program involves participants starting their own paintings on blank canvases before passing them around the room. As the canvases circulate, others add their own unique artistic touches, resulting in a collaborative final piece that attendees can take home.
The library is hosting two sessions of the event. The first session takes place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., which is currently at capacity with a waitlist available. A second session is being held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., which currently has 10 spots available for registration.
This event is part of the library’s ongoing efforts to offer community-focused programming. The library, which acknowledges it is situated on Treaty Six Territory and the Homeland of the Métis, maintains a partnership with the Leduc Arts Foundry to support local creativity.
